2011. What a doozie. We’d love you to peep our new show reel while we’re busy drinking egg nog and prepping projects for 2012.
Our friends at Urgent Content comissioned Eikon's Jason Miller to direct one of Empire of the Sun's insanely visual concerts at Club Nokia back in October.
We were lucky enough to film one of the first shows at the newly rebuilt Georgia Theatre!
It's out in theatres tomorrow. Check out the trailer.
Eikon spent an amazing weekend in Ireland picking up shots for the Glee 3D movie, directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
We hung out for a day and shot a music video with our lovely Swedish friends, Rebecca and Fiona while they were visiting Los Angeles for a few weeks.
Eikon's Jason Miller was director of photography for the video treatment to DCC's "You Are a Tourist". The video, directed by Tim Nackashi was broadcast live as we shot it.
Check out the music video nomination for best art direction.
Glee took their hit show on the road again--this time performing to sold out arenas around America and overseas. Eikon was along for the ride again to capture behind the scenes and create a series of branded content for presenting sponsor, Chevrolet.
Eikon is beyond excited to finally share with you the trailer for a (currently untitled) short documentary we filmed in West Africa in early 2010. Musician and former Peace Corp volunteer, Adam Klein and filmmaker, Jason Miller traveled to Mali where Klein recorded a Mande music album, called Dugu Wolo, of original songs in the Bambara language featuring traditional Malian instrumentation (kora, ngoni, calabash, talking drum, djembe, etc.). Miller documented every step of the process and more importantly shows Mali through the lens of some of Klein's close friends as he struggles to remain connected with and support his friends and home community from a distance as he works to gain footing and establish his career in the states.
Check it out on YouTube and be sure to watch in HD. For more information on this project, please contact producer, Adam Klein.
Our new video for Bad Books debuted on Spin.com. You can also view it on our site by clicking the image above or on YouTube. These guys were a blast to work with.
Tis the season...of the Witch!
Watch "Seasons of the Witch" on Vimeo.
On the Tenth Day of the Tenth Month of the Tenth Year of our new century, Dream Boat, gathered at the Orange Twin Village to celebrate Nuci's Space Tenth Anniversary. Dream Boat masqueraded as a troupe of gypsy witches in order to remake the 1966 psychedelic classic "Season of the Witch". They also played a few songs of their own in the this psychedelic season cycle.
True to the spirit of Athens georgia, Nuci's Space has been helping musicians and the mental health cause for Ten Years and it is time every place had a Nuci's Space. Eikon And Groop have worked together with Dream Boat to make this Halloween treat for you. please watch this and pass it on. Remember to donate to Nucis Space to make sure they are able to to provide for the amazing musicians and community they serve for another outstanding 10 years.

We've been busy cooking up some new music videos for the world. We just finished post-production on a sixties tv inspired video for Bad Books (Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Devine). Look for it soon!
Next up-another video for our friends of Montreal. We're headed back to the east coast to shoot this weekend. We'll be co-directing with the talented Nina Barnes!
Diesel and Mad Decent asked us to document their summer series of block parties. Four weekends, four cities, almost 30 artists. Check it out after the jump.
We would have taken our own picture, but this guy was just too good. We couldn't be more excited to get going full time on the West Coast. The weather is perfect, the people are great, and the shooting locations are endless.
We'll still be back and forth to Atlanta and taking on Atlanta based projects as well. Atlantans - Don't be strangers!
We love our friends in of Montreal and we couldn't think of a better way to spend a beach vacation than dousing them with fake blood and sending them into the ocean on homemade john boats turned Viking ships.
Check out the video after the jump.
